RICE -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation is alerting you to some lane closures on Highway 10 in Rice starting Monday.

Eastbound Highway 10 will be reduced to a single lane until temporary bypass lanes open April 30th. That's when traffic will be switched on all four lanes to the new bypass.

Also, a short segment of County Road 2 will close just west of Highway 10 in the city of Rice. Detours will be posted.

The lane closures are necessary as part of the new $11.3-million interchange project. The new interchange is slated to be completed in November.
