JoAnne Elaine Scott, 84, St. Cloud formerly of Sturgeon Lake

August 22, 1933 - August 30, 2017

Graveside Services will take place Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM, at Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake for JoAnne E. Scott, age 84 of St. Cloud formerly of Sturgeon Lake, MN who died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Rev. Mick Scott will officiate.

JoAnne was born on August 22, 1933 in Sturgeon Lake to Anton D. and Jennie (Wenborg) Rye. She graduated from Willow River High School, Willow River, MN in 1952. JoAnne married Raymond W. Scott on May 29, 1954 at Faith Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Lake, MN. She and Ray raised their 4 boys in Richfield, living there for 38 years until they both retired and moved to the cabin on Green Lake, in Princeton, MN. JoAnn loved lake living and spent 13 years there until they moved into the town house in St. Cloud.

JoAnne is survived by her sons, Rev. Mick (Kris) Scott of Pequot Lakes, Larry (Jane) Scott of Andover and James (Shannon) Scott of Andover; grandchildren, Angela (Pete) Olsen of Bomet, Kenya, Africa, Becky (Adam) Olson of Pequot Lakes, Jacob (Valerie) Scott of Duluth, Jenny Scott of Baxter, Kaelyn (Andy) Folstad of Coon Rapids, Jenna Scott of Andover, Rachel Scott of Andover, Alaina Scott of Andover, AJ Scott of Andover and Mike (Cara) Scott of Rosemont; great-grandchildren, Haily and Wyatt Hanson of Baxter, Ella and Sammy Olsen of Bomet, Kenya, Africa, Malena and Maira Scott, Liana Olson of Pequot Lakes.

JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents; brother; husband, Ray and son, Skip.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Tri County Humane Society.
