Jayne Heitman Schultz, 91, Princeton

June 19, 1923 - December 9, 2014

Jayne Heitman Schultz, age 91, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at the Elim Home in Princeton. Jayne was born June 19, 1923, in Princeton, MN, the daughter of Eric and Alma (Anderson) Ericson.

Jayne grew up seven miles east of Princeton and had one sister, Ruth. Jayne graduated from Princeton High School then went on to college to become a Dental Assistant. She worked as a dental assistant for 30 years.

Jayne was married to Henry “Hank” Heitman from 1941-1985. After Hank passed away, she married Edwin “Ed” Schultz. They were married from 1989-2010. Through this marriage, Jayne gained five step daughters.

Jayne was musically talented and enjoyed playing the organ at Immanuel Lutheran Church where she had been a member for many years. Jayne also loved traveling and also spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her daughters, Carol Larsgaard, Darlene (Clay) Thompson, Cindy (Bruce) Knight, Melanie (Ron) Gedde and Donna (Bruce) Nelson; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister Ruth Moody; niece Gayle Kostanshek; and nephew Keith Moody.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband’s Hank and Edwin.
