Janice A. (Durant) Winter, 73, St. Cloud

April 11, 1941 - March 16, 2015

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 22nd, 2015 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud for Janice A. (Durant) Winter, 73, who died Monday, March 16th, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community. Private interment will be at Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.

Janice was born on April 11, 1941 in Monticello to Alvin and Armella (Kramer) Durant. She was a 1959 graduate of Cathedral High School, St. Cloud. Janice married John W. Winter on April 23, 1977 in Hopkins, MN. Janice was employed as an inspector with Honeywell in Minneapolis until retiring in 1998. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin on Lake Osakis, playing 500, crossword puzzles and her loving four legged companions, Bridget, Toby and Max.

Janice is survived by her brothers and sister, James (Ann) Durant of Omaha, NE, Roger (Terri) Durant of St. Cloud, Arlene Durant of Sauk Rapids and Mark (Susan) Durant of St. Cloud. She was preceded in death by her husband, John (October 25, 2012); parents, brother, David; and niece, Kym.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Janice’s family would like to thank St. Benedict’s Senior Community for their care of Janice these past years.
