Icy Roads Cause Head On Collision in Western Stearns County

BELGRADE -Two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision in western Stearns County.

The State Patrol says the crash happened at about 12:20 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) on Highway 55 near Belgrade.

A vehicle driven by a 41-year-old woman from Willmar was heading west when she lost control on the icy road and slid into the oncoming lane.  She struck a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old man from New London.

The two drivers, and their passengers, suffered non life-threatening injuries.
