Human Remains Found In Brooklyn Park

BROOKLYN PARK (AP) — Human remains have been discovered in a wooded area of Brooklyn Park.

A passer-by called police after finding the remains Friday afternoon. A statement from the city says it appears the skeletal remains have been in Brookdale Park for an extended period of time.

Brooklyn Park Police, the Hennepin County Crime Lab and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner are investigating. Police expect to release more information next week.
