House Fire Reported North of St. Joseph

ST. WENDEL TOWNSHIP - Two people and their dogs escaped injury in an early morning house fire.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department says the fire started just before 1:00 a.m. this (Tuesday) morning two miles north of St. Joseph in St. Wendel Township.

Dean and Joan Holtz were in the home at the time.  The fire is believe to have started in the kitchen.  The cause is under investigation.
