MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A new Holidazzle Village and Minneapolis Holiday Market has opened up for the season in downtown Minneapolis.

The Holidazzle Village is on Nicollet Mall between 10th and 12th Streets, transforming the area into a winter wonderland.

From now through Christmas Eve, the village will be bustling with carousel rides, holiday characters, live reindeer, refreshments, storytelling and other activities.

The village is free and will be open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on every weekend from now until Christmas.

The Minneapolis Holiday Market at Peavy Plaza will run daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. until Christmas Eve, when it shuts down at 6 p.m. The market has a one-time fee of $3 to $6.
