Harbor Freight Tools Opening Store in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD -- A California-based retail tool store is opening in St. Cloud later this month.

Harbor Freight Tools is opening a 12,500 square-foot retail store in the strip mall near Savers and Chuck E. Cheese August 26th.

Store Manager Brad Payne says they offer a wide variety of power tools and hand tools.  He says their company slogan is "be well-stocked, be priced right and be friendly to the consumer."  He goes on to say that they "offer excellent tools at ridiculously low prices."

Payne says they plan to have a staff of 35-40 and are still hiring for some part-time jobs.

Harbor Freight Tools currently has three stores in Minnesota. They are in Duluth, Rochester and Minneapolis-St. Paul.  They have 500 stores nationwide.
