Gregory Laurence Taylor of Rice, MN died on his birthday, July 15 2015, at his place of residence.

Greg was born July 15, 1951 at Adrian, MN, the son of Bill and Dee Taylor, currently of Worthington, MN. Greg grew up on farms in the Adrian and Rushmore area and attended St. Adrian elementary and high school, where he graduated in 1969. After graduation, he attended St. Mary’s College and Winona State in Winona, MN.

For the next 20 years he lived in various places throughout the country, working mostly in car sales.

In 1990 he moved to Seattle, WA where he met his life partner Deborah- Lee Bodkin. They lived, worked, and played together until 2007 when Deborah-Lee suffered a stroke and died. Greg joined Deborah-Lee in her mortgage business until her untimely death. After her death, Greg moved back to the Worthington area in Minnesota. He suffered an aneurysm and after rehabilitation, spent time in a nursing home and eventually moved to adult foster care near Rice, MN.

Greg was an avid photographer and enjoyed watching most sports. He loved spending time in Hawaii, on Mt. Rainier in Washington and on Mt. Shasta in California. He and Deborah- Lee enjoyed numerous trips to a friend’s ranch in Montana. He also loved spending time with his niece and nephews. Greg appreciated the wonderful opportunity of a childhood on the farm and often reminisced about it with family.

Greg is survived by his parents Bill and Dee Taylor of Worthington, MN. He is also survived by his siblings, Tom (Hopkins, MN), Don (Golden Valley, MN), Gary and wife Diane (Seattle, WA) and Mary Beth and husband Merle Kriech (Colman, SD), nieces and nephews Lukas and Allison Taylor, of Washington, Taylor Kriech of Coleman, also friends Dexter Peterson and Rob Bodkin of Washington. He is preceded in death by infant siblings Dennis Michael, Kathleen Marie, and David James, along with numerous aunts and uncles.

Honoring Greg’s request, there will be no services. Memorials can be contributed to the charity of your choice.
