ST. PAUL (AP) - Prosecutors say a grand jury will gather in Wright County next week to consider charges involving the death of a man whose remains were found in a fire pit last fall.

Robert Nuttall is already facing charges of second-degree murder and kidnapping in Christopher Rossing's disappearance and death. A grand jury is required to consider a first-degree murder charge.

A criminal complaint says Nuttall beat Rossing unconscious during an argument last August after a night of drinking. Sheriff's officials executed a search warrant at Nutall's Hutchinson farm in October and found bone fragments and teeth in a fire pit. Dental records later confirmed the remains belonged to Rossing.

The grand jury will commence March 11.
