Golf Courses Wait for Mother Nature to Release Grip on Winter
ST. CLOUD — With temperatures climbing into the 60’s by the weekend, golf courses are setting plans for when they’ll open their greens to customers.
Some area golf courses are planning to open driving ranges already this weekend Blackberry Ridge Golf Club in Sartell, Wapicada Golf Club in Sauk Rapids and Territory Golf Club all hope to have their driving range open this weekend.
Oak Hill Golf Course in Rice hopes to open Sunday, the Veteran’s Golf Course at the MAC is shooting for Monday as is Wapicada. Blackberry hopes to open for golf on Tuesday and Territory on Wednesday.
The courses all remind you to call ahead for exact opening dates.
