Gladys Irene Stark, 88, Princeton

Gladys Irene Stark, 88 years, 2 months and 5 days, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton.

Gladys was born on June 5, 1928 in Milaca, Minnesota, the daughter of Abraham and Signey (Pearson) Watson. She grew up on a farm near Bock before her family moved into the Bock city limits. Gladys was united in marriage to Fred Stark on August 5, 1950 in Princeton. The couple resided in Princeton for the rest of their lives. Gladys was a homemaker. She liked traveling, camping, gardening, flowers, crafts and going to garage sales. Gladys truly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Patty (Steve) Wills and Karen (David) Orsburne; grandchildren, Bryan (Stacey) Hatch, Michael (Melissa) Orsburne and Scott (Melinda) Orsburne; great-grandchildren, Sean, Seth and Kate Hatch; Madeline and Mariella Orsburne and Connor Orsburne; brother Donald Watson; Mary Gale, who was like a daughter to her; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Fred; grandson Jeff Hatch; sisters, Beverly Young, Alice Blakely and Helen Watson.

As per Gladys’ wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Arrangements entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton.
