Freeport Man Hurt In Two Vehicle Crash

DOUGLAS COUNTY -- A Freeport man is hurt after a two car crash in Douglas County.

The incident happened just before 5:00 p.m. this (Monday) evening on Highway 29 at Pike Road Northeast.

The State Patrol says 20-year-old Nathan Wuebkers of Freeport, was heading south on Highway 29 and slowed for turkey's crossing the road when he was hit by another vehicle.

Wuebkers suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle, 41-year-old Douglas Hunt of Miltona, was not hurt.
