ZIMMERMAN -- A Zimmerman man is jailed after authorities say he burglarized a bar where he used to work.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office says 38-year-old Jason Camarena took flat screen TV's, a safe, thousands of dollars in cash and some bottles of liquor from the Whistling Pickle in Zimmerman.

Officers were called to the new bar/restaurant Monday on a report of a burglary. There were no signs of forced entry.

A Target employee in Otsego called authorities Wednesday after Camarena entered the store and claimed to be the owner of the Whistling Pickle. He allegedly tried to exchange the TV's, but the Target employee also worked at the bar and knew of the burglary.

Officers then used a search warrant at Camarena's home and found the stolen merchandise.

Camarena was a former manager of the bar and still had keys to the business. He was arrested without incident.
