Foley Man Shot While Deer Hunting
ALBERTA TOWNSHIP -- A Foley man is going to be okay after he was accidentally shot while deer hunting.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office was called to St. Cloud Hospital Wednesday just before 2:00 p.m.Officers learned 32-year-old Daniel Szcech was hit in the neck by a ricocheted bullet.
Szcech and his brother were walking parallel about 40-yards apart to drive deer. Officers says Szcech's brother shot at a deer in front of him but missed. The bullet hit a hard object and a fragment ricocheted back and hit Szech in the neck.
Szcech was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries. He was treated and released.
