Fire Reported at St. Cloud VA

ST. CLOUD - Several patients had to be evacuated yesterday (Sunday) afternoon, after a fire started in one of the patient rooms at the St. Cloud VA Healthcare System.

Fire officials say a patient tried to use a lighter to burn a string on a bed sheet.  The fire quickly spread to the entire bed.

The damage is estimated around a few thousand dollars.  No one was hurt.
