Family Honors Daughter’s Charitable Spirit With Fundraiser

SARTELL -- A local family is honoring the memory of their late daughter with an event that raises money for needs around the community.

The second annual What Would BriAnna Do Memorial Fundraiser will be held tomorrow at the House of Pizza in Sartell.

The event runs from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. and features a pizza buffet, Kona beer sampling, a raffle, and a silent auction.

The WWBD fundraiser honors the charitable spirit of BriAnna Kruzel, a graduate of Sartell High School who died unexpectedly in 2013 at the age of 18.

At the inaugural fundraiser last year, WWBD raised over six-thousand dollars that went towards Sartell-St. Stephen Community Education, two scholarships, and other donations to those in need.
