ST. CLOUD -- The body of missing St. Cloud State University student, 21-year-old Jesse Dady is believed to have been found. Stearns County Sheriff's Captain Jon Lentz says crews did recover a body from the river Friday afternoon.

"After we had suspended our dives yesterday, the family had contacted Crossmon Consulting, Tom Crossmon is the owner of Crossmon Consulting they do ROV and sonar searches. Mr. Crossmon is a retired St. Lewis County Deputy and does do this a lot at the request of families, he doesn't get paid, he does this free of charge. He was out early this (Friday) morning conducting some sonar searches and a little after 3:00 p.m. this (Friday) afternoon he came across a target. He sent the St. Cloud Police Department some images, they provided those to us, we consulted with our dive team and decided we had to go check out that target. Divers went into the water at about 6:14 p.m. and at 6:21 p.m. they recovered the body from the river."

At this time, Lentz says authorities have to wait to hear from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office before identifying the body.

Family however has confirmed the body found is of Jesse Dady, Dady's aunt Jennifer Antell says they are still seeking donations to cover funeral expenses. If you would like to make a donation visit any US Bank location and say you'd like to donate to the Jesse A. Dady Donation Account

Antell reminds everyone to always go out in pairs and to never leave friends alone.

"I want people to know that if you are out there drinking not to leave a bar alone, always go in pairs, don't wander to the river, why does everyone wander to the river, it's not cool, it's not okay, it's terrible."

Dady went missing early Saturday morning in downtown St. Cloud.
