WINONA (AP) - Someone appears to be messing with the rabbits at a Minnesota fair.

Two rabbits disappeared from the Winona County Fair last week, and two others were tampered with hours before competition.

Lisa Douglas, of Winona, says she arrived at the fairgrounds about 7 a.m. Friday to find one of her children's rabbits missing from its cage, and another family's rabbit gone as well.

Douglas says a third rabbit had been placed in a cage with a rabbit where it didn't belong. A fourth rabbit had clumps of hair missing from its face.

Douglas says she made a police report, but the families just want their animals back. She says the missing rabbits can be dropped off at area veterinary clinics with no questions asked.
