Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM on Monday, December 28, 2015 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Everett F. Zinniel, 75, of St. Cloud who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Rev. Aaron Nett will officiate and burial will be in St. John’s Abbey Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be after 9:30AM Monday at the church in St. Cloud.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Everett was born in Freeport on March 13, 1940 to Martin and Mary (Gappa) Zinniel. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1963 until his honorable discharge in 1965. Everett married the love of his life, MaryAnn Olberding, on May 7, 1966 at St. Mary’s Church in Upsala. He held several positions during his 40 years of employment at Matthew Hall Lumber; until his retirement in 2006. Everett was a member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and a good meal. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Everett is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, MaryAnn of St. Cloud; daughter, Laura (Scot) Junglen of Rochester; granddaughter, Marina; siblings, Edward (Mary) Zinniel of St. Cloud, Marcella (Joseph) Blenker of Melrose, and Thrasilla Vogel of St. Cloud.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Virgil (Ann) Zinniel; brother-in-law, Eugene “Gene” Vogel.

Memorials are preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
