What are the differences between normal aging and dementia? Come and learn about the four lobes of the brain and their functions. You will also learn to recognize the warning signs and symptoms of the different stages of Alzheimer’s Disease, the most common form of Dementia. This course will be beneficial to all community members and all family and professional caregivers.

Tami and Cristina, Certified Dementia Practitioners, Dementia Champions of Minnesota have a combined 30+ years working with individuals with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia and caregivers. Tami has a personal connection with Alzheimer’s, and has been working in the healthcare field for over 10 years. Cristina also has a personal connection to Alzheimer's, owner of Silver Lining Dementia Education, has worked in the healthcare field, providing education for community members, staff and family caregivers for nearly 20 years.
Cost is $35 per person
