Kids Fighting Hunger of Sauk Rapids has organized an event, 'We Are Thankful,' to aid people of West Africa who are currently dealing with the Ebola outbreak.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Volunteers are needed to participate in two hour sessions to package food. This will take place at the River's Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud.
Their goal is to package 285,000 meals, which will be shipped to the region as soon as possible.
Volunteers can sign up by registering with the United Way. Monetary donations can also be made to help cover the cost of ingredients.
