St. Cloud State University students will have the chance to 'travel the world' November 21st and 22nd with three cultural events.
- “Athidhyam”: The India Heritage Club is presenting the cultural night, which will feature classical and Bollywood dances, cultural attire and Indian cuisine at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 in the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom. Tickets are $7 for students or $10 for the public.
- “The Journey to Minnesota”: The Karen Student United Association is hosting this Karen Cultural Day 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Atwood Memorial Center Cascade Room. The event features Karen songs, dances, food, a fashion show and personal stories from students about their transition to Minnesota from Myanmar or Thailand. Admission is free.
- “Passport to the World”: The International Student Association is hosting its annual event 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom. The event features booths where students will represent their cultures and audience members will be handed a “passport” they can fill with “visa” stickers as they visit each booth and learn about the cultures of St. Cloud State international students. The event features performance by International Student Association members. Admission is free.
