Between 1854 and 1929 an estimated 250,000 children from New York City orphanages and city streets were loaded on trains and transported to small towns across the United States where potential adoptive parents awaited their arrival. The 20 children who came to St. Cloud in 1913 were but a small part of the largest migration of young people in American history, The Orphan Train Movement. Please join us Wednesday, Feb 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and listen to Bill Morgan tell us about this interesting time in history. He brings with him one of those 20 children who came to St. Cloud, Sister Justina Bieganek. This should prove to be a very informative presentation with great insight from Sister Justina.
