Place of Hope Ministries is hosting the Ride, Walk, Bike for Hope event.
Ride, Walk, Bike for Hope takes place Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. By participating, you can help provide food, shelter and long term solutions for those in need.
Should you decide to bike, bring your Harley to Precision Propeller and Cycle in St. Joseph. You'll take the scenic route through St. Wendel with two stops along the way. Around 5:00 p.m. you can make your way back to Place of Hope for a pork chop dinner and music.
You and the entire family can also peddle a bike for hope. Check in is at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Welcome Center Trailhead by Resurrection Lutheran Church. Take the fall tour of the Lake Wobegon Trail -- cost is $20 per adult, $10 for kids ages 7 - 15 and children 6 and under are free.
Walk Lake George for hope. Check in is at 3:00 p.m. and the walk is three miles.
Everyone can gather back at Place of Hope for a pork chop dinner and music from Jim Anthony. There will also be vendors and drawings for prizes.
