On Sunday, September 9, 8:00 and 10:30 am, Petra Lutheran Church, 1049 1st Ave N, Sauk Rapids, will again be celebrating its 50th anniversary with a look forward as we plan for the future. The children of Petra, as the next generation and our future, will be singing in both services; the choir will also sing. Pastor Todd Engel, the son of members Wally and Carol Engel, will be our guest preacher. He has been a pastor since 1996 and is currently serving in Red Wing, Minnesota. Guest musicians Valerie Floeter and Pat Backus will be playing keyboard and trumpet for the worship services. Between services, there will be a light breakfast available. All are welcome to attend.
