Sauk Rapids Middle School/ Community Education
Come learn valuable and practical information on the importance of socialization as we age, and the increased importance for those individuals living with a form of Dementia. We will also discuss the understanding that it is not IF, but When an individual with Dementia will have changes in their ability to communicate. How can we communicate better to assist with continued socialization? Sure to be a fun filled course.
This course will be beneficial to all community members and all family and professional caregivers.

Tami and Cristina, Certified Dementia Practitioners, Dementia Champions of Minnesota have a combined 30+ years working with individuals with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia and caregivers. Tami has a personal connection with Alzheimer’s, and has been working in the healthcare field for over 10 years. Cristina also has a personal connection with Alzheimer's and is owner of Silver Lining Dementia Education, has worked in the healthcare field, providing education for community members, staff and family caregivers for nearly 20 years.
