There will be an Informational Meeting about a Fibershed in Central Minnesota.
A Fibershed is for bringing together local people who raise fiber animals with local people who use fiber products like spinners, knitters, and consumers who wear knit clothing. All are welcome to attend.
There will be displays of local products from Sheep, Alpaca and Llama, with spinning wheels and knitting on display.
(The word Fibershed identifies a geographical area, like the word Watershed. This Fibershed is for all of central Minnesota and down to the Twin Cities.)
The event will be Saturday May 20, 1:30-4:00 at Rocking Horse Farm near I-94 and Hwy 15 South in St. Cloud. It is free and open to the public.
