Chinese Christian Fellowship at SCSU (CCF) was established back in 2009. It was starting as a Bible study group for those were interested in Christianity and would like to learn more about American culture. It was also a place that Chinese Christians could get together to study God’s words in Chinese language. As each year goes by, more and more Chinese students and visiting scholars to come. We know that we have to reach out to them– not only because more students and families will need help with different cultural transition and life adaption, but also we want to spread God’s love to more people.

According to SCSU international student enrollment data, in fall 2017, 202 Chinese students were enrolled in SCSU. China is the top 2 country in terms of number of students among all the 85 international countries. Since 2015, the number of students has been growing every year. This does not even include Chinese visiting scholars and current Chinese residents in St Cloud.

In order to reach out to more people we know we need help with financial support and this is why we host this cultural fair fundraiser. We would like to invite you to join us this coming Sunday, April 8th . The event will start from 3pm to 5pm at First Presbyterian Church, 340 5th Ave S, St. Cloud. We will have lots of hands-on activities such as Calligraphy, Tongue Twister, Paper Cutting, Handkerchief dancing, Photo Booth, Chinese Traditional Toys. We also invite professional Kung Fu instructor from Dee Cheng Kung Fu Academy to demo some of the Kung Fu movements. After you try all the activities you can stop by auction booth. Maybe you will want to bring a few Chinese craft or arts home. And in a Chinese event there is no way we would not have Chinese food, so we do have a Chinese food sampling booth too. For those interested, there will be the opportunity to help make dumplings. Individual is $15 dollars and Family $30 (max two adults + all children). Please make checks payable to “St Cloud State.”  Even if you can't come to join us, please still put us in your prayer. Thank you for your support!
