Join University of Minnesota Educators and Specialists for the Backyard and Small Flock Poultry Workshop on Saturday, March 10th from 9:30am-3:30pm at the St. Cloud Regional Extension Office. The office is located at 3601 18th Street South, Suite 113, St. Cloud. Topics for the workshop include Chicken Breeds, Poultry Regulatory Issues, Poultry Husbandry, Poultry Nutrition, Biosecurity, Issues in Raising Poultry, and Raising Baby Chicks. There will also be a Roundtable Discussion.
Cost of the workshop is $10 per person for $20 per household, which covers a maximum of 3 people. Lunch is included and pre-registration is required. To pre-register, contact Emily Wilmes at the Stearns County Extension Office at 320-255-6169, extension 3 or via email at krek0033@umn.edu.
