The American Red Cross is asking everyone to roll up their sleeves and give from the heart, the American way, when the Red Cross is at Shepherd of the Pines Church in Rice Monday, April 25th, from 1:30-6:45 PM.
Every week patients depend on the generosity of volunteers whose only motivation is to help others by giving blood. This life-saving supply of given blood is ten used to help people survive an accident, surgery, cancer, leukemia or other serious diseases.
If you are 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in good health you can donate blood.
