With the approaching 150^th anniversary of the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862, the Stearns History Museum and Research Center is proud to have Gary Wiltscheck, author of The Leavenworth Rescue Expedition to provide a presentation that focuses on the effects of the U.S.-Dakota War on the local community.
