Eva J. Schwinghammer, 84, Albany

September 3, 1932 - November 14, 2016

The Mass of Christian burial, celebrating the life of Eva J. Schwinghammer, age 84 of Albany, will be 12:00 Noon on Thursday, November 17 at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany. Fr. Cletus Conners, OSB will officiate and burial will be in the Seven Dolors Parish Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM, Wednesday and again after 11:00 AM Thursday at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Albany. Seven Dolors parish prayers will be at 4:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home in Albany.

Eva was born September 3, 1932 in Avon to Phillip and Lucy (Merkling) Keppers. She married Harold Schwinghammer on October 14, 1952 in Avon and she has lived in the Albany area since her marriage where she and Harold farmed. She was a member of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church, the Seven Dolors Christian Mothers, she was on the Dairy Board for 25 years, she was a 4-H leader for 9 years and she taught CCD for 30 years.

Eva is survived by her children, Karen (Corey Klehr) Schwinghammer, Buffalo; Julie (Brian Johnson) Schwinghammer, Grand Marais; Linda (Jerry) Jennissen, Brooten, MN and Jeffery (Lisa) Schwinghammer, Albany. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Paul (Virginia) Keppers, St. Francis; Elmer (Marlene) Keppers, Avon; Ella (Robert) Budde, Albany; Ruth (Pat) Kosel, St. Cloud; Robert (Joan) Keppers, Avon; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold; her son, Dean; her twin brother, Adam Keppers and her sisters, Margaret Keppers and Susan Keppers.
