Erma M. Peterson, 81, Princeton

Erma M. Peterson, age 81, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Elim Home in Princeton. She was born on July 27, 1934 in Barron, WI, the daughter of Frank and Hilda (Ormson) Dibble. She was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Peterson on October 12, 1957 in Barron, WI. The couple moved to Princeton in the 60’s. Erma worked at the Princeton Fairview Hospital for many years, as a business office manager. She also was a Foster Grandparent for mostly 1st graders at South Elementary. Erma loved children, she was known as the “Sucker Lady” because she always had a dum-dum or tootsie pop for the kids. She also loved spending time outdoors enjoying nature.

Erma is survived by her children, Brian (Amy) Peterson, Brad (Shawntel) Peterson and “Bridgit” Robyn Hayden; grandchildren, Angel and Richard Hayden and Logan and Lauren Peterson; great-grandchildren Maurice and Mauricia Boswell; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dick, and siblings, Orville, Roy, Williard and Lois.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at 11:30AM on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton with visitation being held one hour prior to the service.
