Erma M. Gallagher, 99, Clear Lake

June 26, 1918 - July 19, 2017

 
A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker for Erma M. Gallagher, age 99, who passed away Wednesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids.

Erma was born June 26, 1918 in Minneapolis to Anton & Ellen (Hanson) Hanson. She married Robert Patrick Gallagher on Jan. 1, 1941. Erma was a former member of Asbury Methodist Church in Minneapolis, Becker United Methodist Church in Becker and the Clear Lake Lioness Club. Erma enjoyed sewing, making cards, and taking care of her vegetable garden. She volunteered at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center and the St. Cloud Hospital for over 20 years.

Erma is survived by her children, Mary Gallagher of Charleston, SC, Diane (Maurice) McInerny of Fridley, Patricia Gallagher of McMinnville, OR and Bob Gallagher of Clear Lake; sister, Karyle Hanson of Minneapolis; and granddaughter, Angeli Modjeski. Erma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; two sisters; and grandsons, Steve Modjeski and Bill Soshnik.
