Junie B Jones in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells is a play based on the wildly popular book series that many kids grew up reading - kids like actress and Sartell High School Sophomore Regan Dockery, who plays Junie.

Dockery says, as an elementary schooler, she wanted to be Junie B. Jones.

The high-energy show's plot centers around Junie's first grade class and the upcoming Christmas pageant, which promises to be full of shenanigans.

The cast is relatively small compared to other GREAT productions - only 8 cast members. Dockery says it's been fun bonding with her co-stars while taking on the role of Junie, a character she says is spunky and energetic.

The curtain opens tonight at the Humphrey Auditorium at St. John's University at 7:00 p.m., with shows through next weekend.

Most of the performances for "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells" are already sold out; still, for information, you can call the box office at (320) 259-5463.
