Wahl, 70, who passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be from 5-8PM on Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday all at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Ed was born November 1, 1946 in Bismarck, ND to John and Matilda “Tillie” (Ohlhauser) Wahl. He grew up on the family farm in Hazelton, ND. Ed proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Constellation from 1964 to 1969. He married Sandy Marsh on July 13, 1979 in Bismarck, ND; Ed finally said yes after Sandy chased him for many years. Ed was employed at Woodcraft for over 20 years until his retirement in 2011; he always had the cleanest station in the shop. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, woodworking, garage saling, being outdoors, and Old Milwauke. Ed will be remembered for his great sense of humor, hardworking and easy going character; who always wore one of his many plaid shirts and blue jeans. Most importantly, his family meant the world to him and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Ed is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sandy of St. Cloud; children, Debbie (Pete) Bonti of Kennebunk, ME, John of Chaska, Tina of Sartell, Kim (Paul Wilson) of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Zachary, Alex, Tianna, Shawn, Ryan, Tyler; siblings, Marge Norman of WA, Pauline (Burt) Worrell of ID, Bob of ND, Marty of ID, Dennis of CO; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ben.
