Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud for Edith M. Lenertz, 92 of St. Cloud who passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud. Rev. Janine Olson will officiate and burial will be in Grand Forks, ND. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Edith was born on May 15, 1922 in Niagara, North Dakota to George and Alpha (Herum) Bjorge. She was married to Carl Georgesen who passed away in 1944. Edith married Aloys Lenertz and he passed away in 1991. She was a business owner in Grand Forks for many years, operating the Pink Hanger, an upscale consignment shop. Edith took pride in her business and was respected in the community. She moved from Grand Forks to Waite Park in 1996, where she became a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Family was Edith’s main passion and priority in her life. She also enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, fishing, cooking.

Survivors include her daughters, Jane (Gary) Marsden of Clear Lake, Barbara (Don) Wetter of Crosslake and Nancy (Steve) Shermoen of International Falls; grandchildren, Steven (Cindy) Marsden, Jennifer (Paul) Marsden Uren, Bradley Wetter, Scott Wetter, Chris (Tamra) Wetter, Mike Shermoen, Andy (Kelly) Shermoen and Matt Shermoen and great grandchildren, Matt and Mike Marsden, Harper Marsden Uren, Chloe Wetter, Hannah, Logan, Austin and Megan Wetter and Will, Charlie and Sam Shermoen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Carl and Aloys and siblings, Marion Brager, Bob Bjorge, Rhoda Neumann Herness, Elaine Karna and Betty Brands.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud for the loving and wonderful care that was given to Edith.

Memorials are preferred to St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud.
