Donald Herman Moore, 90, of St. Cloud, died on Saturday, Feb. 24, at St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church in St. Anna. Rev. Gregory Mastey will officiate and burial in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. at the church in St. Anna, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 and also from 10-11 a.m. prior to the mass on Wednesday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Don was born in Meire Grove to Earl and Appolonia (Meyer) Moore on Feb. 20, 1928. He married Idella Ramler on Oct. 27, 1952, at Our Lady of Angels in Sauk Centre. Don and Della lived in Sauk Centre, Duluth and St. Cloud. They moved to their lake home in St. Anna when Don retired, and they lived there for 25 years, before moving back to St. Cloud in 2016.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3628 of Albany, the Eagles Aerie 622 in St. Cloud and the Holdingford Men’s Prayer Group. Don worked for Pan O Gold Bakery for 25 years and retired from Deli Express after 20 years.

Don lived an abundant and joyful life of 90 years, including an active retirement playing cards, bowling, volunteering at church, taking care of their lake home and working several days each week at Precision Motorsports in St. Joseph. He was a master of dominos, croquet and cribbage. His loving and joyful spirit was known to many, and his laugh was infectious, hearty and stood out in any crowd.

Don leaves behind an abundance of family and friends: his wife, Della, of 65 years and their children Sharon (Lars) Bakken of South Range, WI, Tim (Paula) of Becker, Tom (Tammy) of Royalton and Mark (Traci) of St. Augusta and six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Appolonia Moore and brothers Roy, Tony and Ray Moore and sisters Lillian Jones and Marie Larson.
