Domestic Assault Leads Anoka Man To Felony Arrest

A St. Cloud woman was assaulted early Friday morning. Just before 1am on Friday, police were called to meet with the victim of an assault that took place in a parking lot in the 1800 block of St. Germain Street West.

32-year-old Kelijah Harrod Walton from Anoka had assaulted his ex-girlfriend. The victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital and received treatment for significant but non-life threatening injuries.

Walton was located near the police department and due to prior convictions was arrested for third degree felony assault, felony domestic assault, and was also arrested for DWI.

Walton is currently in the Stearns County Jail and is being held for court.
