COLD SPRING -- The DNR is looking to reduce the number of channel catfish in the Sauk River Chain of Lakes.

A public meeting has been scheduled to discuss proposed experimental fishing regulations in the chain of lakes as well as Long Lake, North Brown's Lake, Eden Lake and Mud Lake.

The proposal would increase the daily limit to 10 fish with only one over 24 inches. The current limit is five catfish with one over 24 inches.

The meeting will be held at the Cold Spring city offices tomorrow from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
