Delano Company Announces $11 Million Expansion, 104 New Jobs
DELANO - A medical device manufacturer in Wright County is planning a major expansion. Sil-Pro LLC in Delano has announced an $11 million expansion, which will add 57,000 square feet to their existing building.
Sil-Pro expects to create 104 new jobs, paying an average wage of nearly $20 an hour, within three years.
The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development is assisting with the expansion with $790,000 from the Job Creation Fund.
Sil-Pro started in Delano in 1998 with two employees. Currently they have more than 250 workers.
They specialize in developing and manufacturing silicone and thermoplastic medical devices and components.
