Davis Extradited Back to MN to Face Murder Charge

FOLEY -- A St. Cloud man has been returned to Minnesota to face charges for his role in a fatal drug overdose.

Marvin Davis was booked into the Benton County Jail and is being held on $500,000 bail.  He fled to Tennessee following the death of 32-year-old Shiquita Clark in September.

The 59-year-old Davis is charged with third degree murder and a third degree controlled substance crime.

Authorities say he gave Clark crack cocaine before she died at Davis' St. Cloud apartment. Records show Davis told investigators "she did not look good" after taking drugs. Davis and others tried to wake her up but failed.

According to the criminal complaint, Davis didn't call 911 until about three hours after he knew Clark died.
