Darlys E. (Saulsbury) Clemensen, age 69 of Princeton, passed away surrounded by her family on February 20, 2016 at her home.

Darlys was born in Appleton Hospital, Appleton, MN to Elaine and Vern Saulsbury on August 29, 1946. She was raised in Appleton, MN and graduate from Appleton High School in 1964. She met the love of her life, Joe Clemensen in 1962 and they were married in 1965 and have been married for over 50 years. They lived in Princeton, MN since 1965 and raised their three children; Lisa, Tami and Michael. She is loved by her nieces and nephews and served as a second mother to more.

Darlys raised her three children at home for 25 years while Joe taught school and coached gymnastics at Princeton High School. She started the family business with Joe in 1988 and continued to work at Clemensen Enterprises until her death.

Darlys enjoyed camping (especially with the kids and grandkids), traveling in the motorhome, reading, and time with friends and family. Darlys was particularly good at making everyone in the room feel special, even if she was meeting them for the first time. She will be loved, honored, and remembered by many. Many people called her “Mom”.

Darlys is survived by her husband Joe, son, Michael Clemensen, Princeton; daughters Lisa (Kevin) Hardesty, Mankato; Tami (D’Aron) Clemensen-Johnson, Stevensville, MT. Daryls is also survived by nine grandchildren; Blake, McKenzie, Seth, Payton Hardesty, Jade, Josiah, Cheyenne, Michael, Kristina Johnson. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie (Jay) Friedrichs and brother Tim (Lonnie) Saulsbury. Her mother Elaine is here to celebrate her life. She was preceded in death by her father Vern Saulsbury and brother Dan Saulsbury.
