Dale S. Rolfes, 52, Rice

A private service will be held for Dale S. Rolfes, age 52 of Rice who died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 due to injuries from a motorcycle accident.

Dale was born on March 6, 1963 to Ervin and Shannon (Neel) Rolfes. He married Shelley (Gilloley) Rolfes on March 5, 1994 in St. Cloud. He was employed first as a bus driver then drove mail bus for the 742 School District for over 20 years. Dale enjoyed doing bodywork and painting cars. He was a VW collector with the first one in his collection being a 1957. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and was sure to take a ride to Sturgis and a snowmobile trip to Montana each year. Dale enjoyed socializing and always being there for his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Shelley; siblings, Mark (Janet) Rolfes of Fergus Falls, Wendi (Leon) Barthel of Sauk Rapids, Loel (Gary) Vinge of Clarks Grove, MN; mother, Shannon Rolfes of St. Cloud; mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Barrett of St. Cloud and nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Ervin.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
