Cold Spring Man Arrested After Head On Collision
ROYALTON - A Cold Spring Man has been arrested after driving the wrong way on Highway 10 and causing a head on collision.
Twenty-five-year old Justin Hollerman of Cold Spring was heading north in the southbound lanes of Highway 10. Meanwhile, a car driven by 20-year-old Allisa Bontjes of Randall was going south in the southbound lanes. The crash happened near 68th Street in Morrison County, near Royalton. That stretch of Highway 10 is a four-lane divided highway.
Both drivers were taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls with non life-threatening injuries.
The Minnesota State Patrol says Hollerman was arrested, after he was checked out at the hospital, on suspicion of Criminal Vehicular Operation. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
It happened at about 1:00 a.m. this (Sunday) morning.
