Clifford J. Tix, 83, Princeton

June 29, 1931 - February 1, 2015

Clifford Jerald Tix, 83, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2015 in Princeton. Clifford was born on June 29, 1931 in Hankinson, North Dakota, to Joseph Frank and Myrtle (Hartley) Tix. He attended schools in Hankinson and Fargo, ND, graduating from High School in Grand Rapids, MN. He worked in the iron ore mines, for AT&T Telephone, Honeywell and retired from Suburban Propane. Clifford was a veteran of the Korean War.

His many interests included hunting, fishing, camping, music and golf. Family was incredibly important to him. He is survived by his wife Karen; sons, Kenneth (Veronica) Tix of Bailey, CO, Peter (Janelle) Tix of Elk River, MN and Mark (Kathy) Wankel of Spring Lake Park, MN; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Christina) Tix of Parachute, CO, Brandon (Kelly) Tix of Lake Havasu City AZ and Heather (Jonny) Harris of Bailey, CO; great grandchildren, Damyon, Dakota, Drazen, Serenity, Silas and Kenny added special joys. In addition, he is survived by his brother Paul (Donna) Tix of Avon, MN as well as many nephews and nieces.
Clifford was preceded in death by his son Steven; brothers, George, Joseph, Robert, Louis and James; sisters, Rita, Marie, Dorothy and Leona.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:30 AM, Friday, February 6, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton with an informal celebration of life beginning at 11:30 AM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton.
