Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Monday, October 26, 2015 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Long Prairie, for Clemens J. Loebertman, age 86, of Long Prairie who passed away on Thursday at the Central Todd County Care Center, Clarissa. Fr. Omar Guanchez will officiate and burial will be at St. Timothy’s Cemetery in Maple Lake, Minnesota. Family and friends may call from 4-7 pm, Sunday and after 8 am Monday at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home Stein Chapel, Long Prairie. St. Mary’s Catholic Women will pray the rosary at 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Clemens Joseph Loebertman was born July 3, 1929 near Howard Lake, Minnesota the son of Albert and Helena (Kieser) Loebertman. He grew up on the family farm and attended school there. He then helped his father farm until entering the 82nd Air Bourne Division of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He returned to Minnesota and bought a farm near Maple Lake. In 1973 he moved to a farm west of Long Prairie where he farmed until 1996 when he retired. Clemens then moved into Browerville until January of 2015 when he entered the nursing home.

Clemens is survived by his children, Scott (Melissa) Loebertman, Chris Loebertman, Liana Loebertman, and Rosalie (Keith) Hagmeier, brother Albert (Margaret) Loebertman, and sister Lucille (Fritz) Olberding, and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son David, and eight brothers and sisters.
