Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Claire A. Stock, age 87, who passed away Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by her family. Rev. LeRoy Scheirl will officiate and burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 10:30-12:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the church in St. Cloud. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Claire was born December 12, 1930 to Nicholas and Amanda (Thull) Terhaar in St. Cloud. She was raised in Cold Spring and attended St. Boniface School. Claire was united in marriage to Raymond D. Stock on June 19, 1954. Together they moved to St. Joseph and then to St. Cloud and raised their family. Claire was a graduate of St. Cloud School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse working for the St. Cloud Hospital for over 20 years. She co-founded the St. Paul’s Parish Nursing Program and was a faithful and busy member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Claire was a part of the church Befriender group and sang in the church choir and the funeral choir. She was also a hospital visitor. This was a small example her devoted faith and a strong love for God. In 2004 she became a Little Falls Franciscan Associate. In high school, Claire was part of the glee club and very active in theater. She carried on her passion of the stage as a charter member of Sweet Adeline’s in St. Cloud. Claire had tremendous love for the Terhaar family and her immediate family as each one of them meant everything to her. Her laughter and sense of humor will be missed.
Claire is survived by her children, Tom of Eden Prairie, Bryan of California City, CA, Roger of Bloomington, Jim of Sauk Rapids, Chris of Green Bay, WI, and Mary (Karl) Hinkemeyer of St. Cloud; sister, Jeanette Mischke Andrews of St. Paul; brother, Jim (Mary) Terhaar of Cold Spring; grandchildren, Sydney, Alex and Marty Stock, Kayli and Hannah Anderson, and Brooks and Katie Hinkemeyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond in 1997; infant son, Joe; sisters and brothers, Hortense Terhaar, Dolores Manthey, Mary Louise Andrews, Fred Terhaar, Doraine Manthey, Jerry Terhaar, and Dick Terhaar.
